Woah i havent been here in like 4eva. Hmm the past wk has been rather boring, wif me mostly spending time at home, having my me time haha. Im not really the kind that nids alot of me time anw, which equals to i was rather bored the past wk. Everyone was either at camp, overseas, or busy wif interns n work laaaa, like seriouslyyyy. And i had the urge to shop, but just cun seem to find the ppl to shop wif. Yet. Ok shucks im beginning to sound like some whiny himbo.

Oh but i got to meet up wif my sportscamp OG tho. On mon n tues n today. Haha we are siao enthu la. First day they met at marina bay for soccer, frisbee, pool n dinner. Tho i only joined them for dinner, we had a great time! And we ended off the night wif usual orientation games haha. Oh and tues we met up for badminton. Then today we did banana boating! Super fun sia. We are damn pro at staying afloat n not capsizing la hah. Too bad we only did it once, n it was at Sembawang sea sports club, like so ulu o_O. I had to make my way down from church at bukit timah, and in the end we were still the first og to arrive there anw. We shld have gone earlier then we could have more goes at the ride man. Darn. Haha notice the trend of the things we do? *hint*sports*hint* So cool.

Oh n i watched transformers today morn at 1225am. Haha. Good thing it was filled wif action which kept me awake throughout. I must say its a gd movie for a blockbuster la, like theres depth and good flow in the story, good intense action, n nice graphics. And watching Harry Potter tmr. Im prob the last one to catch the long awaited sequel la, but nvm. The wait is worth it haha.

Went for pre uni enrolment med checkup just now. Yay one step close to matriculation. Ended faster than i expected. Been spending ALOT of money on food over the past 2 days, n i seriously mean alot.

Ive got a fever, im hot, and i can't be stopped.
Been resting a lot the past few days trying to recover from post sports camp fever. Had a whopping temperature of 39degrees on sat, but gd thing it subsided, n now im almost well again, cept for a bad cough n sorethroat. So pardon my late update here. Then again half the world's probably at some fun camp right now, n wun be reading this right now.

SPORTS CAMP WAS A BLAST!
Did so much stuff in the 6 days, and only slept like for a total of 13hrs. So by the last day everyone's throat was sore and we were all too lazy or zombified to be enthu. "Screw it la!" became the new shoutout for our house. Really. The camp exposed us to windsurfing, diving, canoeing, canoe polo, dragonboat, kendo, karate, taekwondo, judo, wushu, akido, nam wah pai, floorball, aerobics... basically all the sports clubs in nus. And now im totally spoilt for choice on wad cca to join in uni. Dilemma dilemma. Oh and we did other fun things like cable skiing, air rifle shooting, goin up a the DHL balloon, banana boat, motorcross, sliding down the ice slide in snow city, shouting and jumping around in kbox, eating famous dou jiang you tiao at geylang, nite cycling, rock climbing, snooker etc etc. And then there was fright night, and the fun beach games, and the gross forfeits, and the....wah theres seriously too many things to talk abt. It was seriously 6 days packed full of fun stuff.

And my OG rocks. My SP (secret pal) is nice too. No regrets at all goin for Sports Camp. At first i thought it would be quite weird for me since i didnt come from a sports cca, and that everyone was gonna be hot n sporty, but nah, tts just a stereotype. Im just glad that i got to build more friendships and know new ppl. I hope to meet up wif my og soon heh.

Whew! Finally done wif packing for the Sports Camp, its one helluva list of stuff to bring la gosh. Ok havta reach NUS in less than 8 hrs, n they say u wun get much sleep in camps, so im practically alrdy screwed that im not getting enuf rest tonite. Oh wells.

Anw, some highlights this wk: I Officially Ended Work On Friday. Oh did i just post abt work during the last post? Hah Short-term-memory-me. Anw they had a farewell lunch for me at swensen's, n i just realised i forgot to pay for cab fare to n fro to bugis. It was nice wif all the 'All the best' and 'Good luck' well wishes, and everyone said i was welcome to come back to work again when i have the free time. Haha yay, im not a lousy worker/colleague, or mayb they were just saying it out of obligation. Haha office politics can be a scary thing. But im sure they meant well la.

Oh oh just rmbed, before my last day i went out the whole night, all geared up for clubbing at MOS. And then one of us didnt have ID. Din even get a chance to flirt/beg/persuade the female bouncer to let xh in la. So in the end we switched location n went to a jazz bar at clark quay instead, n sipped on nice cocktails n immersed in gd music. Jazz singers are always so perky somehow haha. Then aft tt bar closed we went to Macdonalds n laugh our way into the morn. Nvr laughed that hard in a long time. N yea, laughing is such a wonderful thing. A wise man used to say, a laugh a day keeps the blues away. Ok i just made that up haha. So i was literally stoning away my last day at work, occasionally helping clear out some data entry. My replacement's doin a good job picking up my jobscope and improving fast, so no bitching from me this time. Heh.

Then i met my sportscamp OG on sat. Before that, i met one of my pri sch classmates, which is a HUGE unexpected pleasant surprise. Turned out we took the same bus cos we were heading to the same destination, so we were catching up abt all kinds of stuff, tokking abt our other classmates and how they're doin. I agree, friends come and go, but when they suddenly pop back into our lives, it's so unexpectedly pleasant and just such a great thing. Anw, soon after that, I met yet another pri sch classmate, who's in the same OG as me! Talk abt coincidences and the world being small. And turns out hes goin into FASS like me, tho planning to major in smth diff.

And the same nite i met quite a few other friends whom i lost touch wif, mostly from army. This weekend is just full of pleasant surprises really. And im sure the coming Sports Camp will be one full of them too. I dunno wad to expect man. That makes it even more exciting i suppose.
